Branding and Visual Identity: The Full 90
The Full 90 is a fast-growing Irish football media page that delivers breaking news, transfer updates, matchday coverage, and opinion pieces across the League of Ireland. Its tone is direct, quick, and grounded in the reality of Irish football culture. The platform aims to feel reliable, plugged-in, and visually modern, with graphics that communicate information instantly and cleanly.
When developing the branding and visual identity for The Full 90, my goal was to create a look that matched the pace and personality of the page. I focused on sharp typography, strong contrast, and a layout system that worked across breaking news posts, match graphics, and longer written pieces. The identity leans on bold shapes, clear hierarchy, and a minimal colour palette that allows important information to hit immediately.
I designed a consistent visual language that could be applied across all content: templates for announcements, match results, transfer confirmations, quotes, and features. Each piece carries the same structure and energy, which helps the page feel professional and recognisable without losing the raw, real football feel that makes The Full 90 stand out.

The Full 90 Logo
The Full 90 logo was designed to reflect the identity of a fast, reliable, and modern football media platform. The mark combines strong geometric structure with clean typography, creating a look that is direct and instantly recognisable across social media. The design takes inspiration from the pace of football news, where clarity and impact are essential.
The bold, compact letterforms reinforce the brand’s tone: confident, quick, and plugged into the game. The shape maintains balance at both small and large sizes, which ensures it works across a wide range of assets such as news posts, match graphics, banners, and profile icons. The minimal approach keeps the logo versatile, easy to scale, and adaptable to new formats as the platform grows.
Overall, the logo communicates reliability and modern football culture without unnecessary decoration. It gives The Full 90 a strong visual anchor that supports its identity as a trusted source within the League of Ireland space.
